Description
Black and white Photograph of the "Main computer room". Attached to the front of this photograph are two Que cards which appear to be a tour guides prepared statements. The First card reads " The Main Computer Room, directly to the left of whee you are now standing, contains the three main computers-- the IBM 370/158, the IBM 360/75, and the IBM 360/44. The disk and tape drives connected to these machines are also located in this room as well as the plotter and its associated tape drive." The second card reads " The Debug Terminals are used mainly by students to 'debug' or find errors in their programmes. Service at the Debug Terminals is run on a cafeteria-style basis and is very fast; in fact, over ten thousand jobs have been run on them in one day." Furthermore on the back of the photograph itself "75-01-08" "11#" and a circled lowercase b are written in pen and pencil.
