Description
The first pocket scientific calculator, made by Hewlett-Packard, helped end the age of slide-rules. Named after its 35 keys, it cost $395 (over $2300 today) and was available from 1972 to 1975. It was the worlds first scientific pocket calculator that could perform trigonometric and exponential functions. The calculator could run directly of AC power adapter or its rechargeable battery pack with a rating of 3 hours.
