The brochure was made by CDC (Computing Devices of Canada) to showcase their new navigation system, the AN or ASN-99 projected map display. The AN/ASN-99 was a microcomputer navigation system/interface which was made for military aircraft. The system display was designed to be easily read in any cockpit conditions and could display accurate mapping data of a pilot's position relative to a set target. It also had radar functions and could be switch between both navigation and radar.Related Term
