Description
Magnetic tape is an old storage device made of a magnetizable coating on a long strip of plastic film that was first introduced from Germany before WWII. It served as the primary input and output device for data storage, but the primary purpose of this invention is music recording. It's no surprise that the tape resembles an old music recording tape.
