Description
The daisy wheel, named after its resemblance to a daisy flower, is a 96-character, interchangeable typewriter/printer insert, invented in 1970. The circular device was used in electronic typewriters and printers and allowed for two to three times faster printing than standard type ball machines. This particular daisy is an APL rotating sector in font Light Italic 12 and was manufactured by Qume.
