Tomb Raider was released in 1996 and was titled as Best Action Computer Game of 1997 by Origin Awards and was added to the World Video Game Hall of Fame the Strong National Museum of Play.
Tomb Raider is a third-person action/adventure game consisting of platforming and puzzle solving, something unheard of at the time of its release. What soon followed were several sequels and awards.
