Description
The National Cash Register Company (NCR) was an Ohio-based cash register manufacturer company founded in the 1880s. In the 1950s, the company soon switched to creating computers and other general-purpose machines for businesses. While their computers were a modest success, NCR soon turned their focus and efforts into manufacturing ATMs. The NCR System 3125 was a tablet marketed as a portable computer. In particular, it stood out for being able to run DOS programs, a feat that much of their competition couldn't do at the time. The System 3125 included a leather case, stylus, removable battery, and a removable I/O connector adapter.
