One of the most popular games for home computers in the early 1990s. The goal was to guide animated 'lemmings' past dangerous obstacles to the exit of each level, taking inspiration from the real-world myth about lemmings walking off cliffs. Taking advantage of the Amigas dual mouse capabilities, lemmings allowed for a 2-player mode to be played in which the players compete to see who can bring more lemmings home. The Computer Museum has an emulated version of Lemmings located on a Mini-Macintosh SE created by the combined efforts of a couple of prior co-op students.Related Term
