Description
This is a slide rule and carrying case created by Keuffel and Esser Co. K&E was founded in 1867 and started manufacturing slide rules in 1891.

In the inside of the case is written, "Harty Bérubé Mass, Inst of Tech. Course III opt. I Cambridge A. Mass", referring to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The broken leather flap of the case is debossed with "4092.3S". The inside of the leather flap has "Year 1932" written on it, along with additional text.
