Description
A plastic 10-inch Faber-Castell Rietz slide rule and a plastic case. The cursor is made of clear plastic. The front side of the rule has measurements, and the back side has common unit conversions between imperial and metric. The slide is invertible and has different markings on the back side. On the back of the slide rule, it says "Alan McDonald" in marker, and "A. McDonald" in engraving.

Between 1880-1975, Faber-Castell was globally one of the biggest slide rule manufacturers. In 1952, the all-plastic versions were introduced of slide rules.
