Description
The IBM Selectric Typeball (nicknamed the Golf Ball) was used on the IBM Selectric. The typeball allows for quick and even stamping of characters, eliminating the need for a typebar, thus resolving many of the problems associated with typewriters. Typeballs can be easily swapped out to achieve different fonts or special characters. This typeball in particular is labelled Courier 72 – pitch 10
