Description
The Macintosh PowerBook Model 170 was initially launched in 1991 by Apple Inc. In 1991, its price was approximately $4,599 USD, which equates to around $14,524 CAD today, significantly higher than the average MacBook price today. This particular model features gaming pads, also referred to as “Silicon Sports,” and includes a floppy disk drive located on the right side. Due to several of its features requiring troubleshooting, the model was discontinued less than a year after its release.
