Description
Radio Shack released the TRS-80 model-100 PC in 1983. The model was one of the company’s most popular models, featuring a LCD display, 32 KB ROM, and up to 32 KB of static RAM. The device has ports for RS-232 serial communication, Centronics-compatible parallel printing, and a cassette audio tape I/O. This artifact was used in a research group at the University of Waterloo for word processing and creating programs to write translator slots. It is in working condition, with scratch in words in the middle left corner "A> copy b:fn+con:". On the back is the name "Jean Richardson" serial No. 304012388, and space for batteries.
