Description
Teaching-sized slide rules were used to demonstrate the use of a slide rule from the front of a classroom.
According to the online Slide Rule Museum, 7-foot long models like this one were relatively common, in part because Pickett gave one to every school that ordered a set of normal sized rules for students.

The Pickett 1010-ES offers a general set of scales for multiplication, roots, and trigonometry. Schools that bought a class set of slide rules received large demonstration models like this one to hang at the front of a classroom.
